Enjoying the new Cleveland Supper Club
This one probably deserves its own post, but for now, the gist is that I had the opportunity to check out the new Cleveland Supper Club, a project of Chef Kevin O'Donnell, the weekend before it opened to the public. The entire meal (menu here) was out-of-this-world delicious.
On Friday nights, Chef O'Donnell hosts a supper club in the Superior Building in downtown Cleveland. It's $80 for a four-course prix fixe menu, plus amuse bouche & dessert, & the menu rotates depending on the chef's culinary whims. Get your reservations now because I have a feeling they're about to become hard to score!
Coffee & crepes at Brewella's
My mom came up on Saturday afternoon to do some furtniture shopping (more on that in a moment), but first we popped into Brewella's for caffeine & sustenance. Although our savory crepes were great, my mom's s'mores crepe really stole the show.
She'd never been before & was rightfully awed by what a cute spot it is. Their decor is unreal, & it seems to get better with every holiday... & I'm not exaggerating when I say that those crepes are among the best things I've ever eaten, full stop.
Shopping for furniture at HomeGoods
We headed out to North Olmsted to hit up HomeGoods, just because we miss shopping together. Right as they were being set out on the show floor, I spotted these amazing yellow accent chairs & immediately fell in love. Mike wasn't with us, so I texted him to see if he liked them... & he did not. Devastating.
Nevertheless, she persisted. And now, you guessed it, these beautiful, slightly mod, canary-colored chairs live in our living room. Photos to come.
Cheering on the Bengals
I'm by no means a Bengals fan (& usually hope they lose), but I couldn't root against an Ohio team in the Super Bowl. We went to our friends Seth & Erin's place to enjoy chili & sliders & other apps, & to hang out & enjoy the game (& the commercials).
I made loosely Bengals-themed desserts, thanks to an assist from orange & brown Reese's Pieces, & we all had a good laugh at Erin's Browns skeleton on the porch... until the Bengals lost in an extremely Browns-like fashion. Ouch.

In all, a damn good weekend. So what are you up to? Anything fun to look forward to this weekend?
