I Believe...

• that Kraft mac & cheese in shapes tastes better than the regular kind.
• in sleeping past noon, even as a "real adult."
• that my scars tells stories (like the time I cut my finger on a pretzel).
• in turning to the wisdom of WB/CW TV shows to get me through tough times.
• that my cat understands me better than most people do.
• that if I were currently 16, I'd love Justin Bieber like I once loved the BSB.
• that I am more like my mother than I care to admit.
• that people who don't get sarcasm will never get me.
• that doing bad things does not make you a bad person.
• in rolling down the windows & turning up the radio.
• that all babies look fetal until they're, like, at least six months old.
• that I can have faith without necessarily being religious.
• that you're never too old for the Disney Channel.
• that texting is a perfectly viable means of maintaining a friendship.
• that no holiday is better than Halloween.
• that sometimes you just need a good cry - sobs, sniffles, snorts & all.
• in comfort above all else when it comes to clothing.
• in bringing my iPhone everywhere I go, period, including to the bathroom.
• that vacations with friends are vital in maintaining sanity.
• that there's no such thing as too many dresses.
• that soup warms the soul as much as it warms the stomach.
• that Rufus Wainwright's version of "Hallelujah" is the most beautiful song.
• that lounging around in sweatpants is one of life's greatest joys.
• in the power of snail mail.
• that cat cuddles are among the best cuddles.
• that swearing is a perfectly acceptable form of self-expression.
• in cheesy holiday decorations (like the tinsel pumpkin on my door).
• that it's OK to think leftovers are sort of gross & redundant.

• that "100% happy" is an unrealistic goal.
• in staying up late & sleeping in later, no matter my age.
