Chicken Not-So-Little

Just your average Sunday afternoon shopping trip in the suburbs of Cleveland.

This feels pretty DCesque, I've gotta admit. Chicken in a shopping center, chicken on the Metro... Same diff! People dressed as poultry are clearly a nationwide phenomenon.

  3. A friend of mine who was visiting last Mardi Gras met me at a parade one evening (already quite drunk), made friends with a very drunk chicken (the exact costume pictured above, I believe), and the two of them lived happily ever after...er, happily for a few hours. She ended up moving here 6 months later. I suppose a chicken costume at Mardi Gras is not quite as unexpected as one in a suburban shopping center though!

  4. That's too funny! Maybe they lost their coat and the chicken suit was the warmest item of clothing they could find?

  9. No lie, I saw a short Asian man wearing an Elmo hoodie costume this morning, walking in downtown Pittsburgh. He was also carrying fliers (who KNOWS what for... I was in my car, watching him cross the street). Oh, I love the random hilarity.

  11. Ok, I actually gasped and started chuckling (clucking?) out loud at this photo while I was eating my lunch and perusing my google reader. What the cluck, indeed! I guess this answers the age old question: which came first...the boyfriend or the chicken..err, yeah. So many questions....
